Financial Consultants

As a Financial Consultant, you will profile clients and provide them with advice and solutions to meet their financial needs. You will achieve this through the implementation of suitable solutions after analysing every client’s unique financial situation.

Key Responsibilities
  • To profile clients’ needs and provide them with purposeful financial consulting services.
  • To acquire new clients through your own means or through our dynamic range of business development and sales activities.
  • Actively promote and cross-sell a wide range of wealth management products – such as Structured Investment, Life Insurance, Personal and Commercial Insurance, Unit Trusts and Alternative Investment etc.
  • Engage in business development activities, including client presentations, demos, proposal writing, and meetings
Requirements
  • Self-motivated, with a strong will to excel in a competitive environment.
  • Accreditation in RFP, CFP® or ChFC® is required.
  • Bumiputras are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with a broad range of people.
  • Able to take initiative and work well in a team environment.
  • Pleasant personality and good learning attitude.

Practise Group Directors / Practise Managers

A Practise Manager / Practise Group Director is responsible for providing financial advice and support to clients and a team of Financial Consultants to enable them to make sound advice and solutions/recommendations to meet clients’ financial needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in strategic planning and formulate long-term business plans.
  • Recruit new consultants.
  • Lead and work on business development projects.
  • Monitor performance efficiency and liaising with team members.
Requirements
  • The ability to build and lead cohesive working teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3 years of marketing/sales experience.
  • Accreditation in RFP, CFP® or ChFC® is required.
  • Must be licensed with regulator.
  • Bumiputras are highly encouraged to apply.
  • High commitment to team members’ business development and good time management skills with the ability to prioritise.

Compliance Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • • Identify and understand regulatory compliance requirement by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) and Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM)
    • Key liaison with the regulators to ensure all relevant company activities conform to regulatory standards
    • Develop, implement and review regulatory compliance policies and procedures
    • Ensure adequate compliance and risk management in the organisation
    • Perform periodical / ad-hoc compliance reporting & review as required by the regulators
    • Conduct regular compliance review to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
    • Advise the Board and Management on compliance matters, relevant laws and regulations
    • Assist in timely dissemination of relevant guidelines and directives from the regulators
    • Identify and mitigate regulatory risk
    • Conduct compliance training
Requirements
  • • Possess high level of commitment and integrity.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, well organized, meticulous, results oriented and good team player.
    • Analytical and process-driven yet flexible and adaptable.
    • Candidate must possess at least a Degree preferably in Legal or Audit background.
    • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
    • Applicants must be willing to work in Mont’ Kiara.
    • Computer literate & well versed in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Good in written and spoken English.
    • Quick Learner and able to adapt to changing environment.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in compliance role in financial services sector.
    • Experience in Audit / Consulting / Insurance / Investment / Banking industry is a valuable advantage.
    • Salary commensurate with experience.
